We currently have two houses in Bridlington with 6 people staying across them at any one time. All of our residents are currently men.
When a new resident arrives in of our houses we ensure that they have everything they need to be comfortable in their new home. We provide them with bedding and everything they need to cook and do their laundry.
One of our Housing Support Officers vists each house regularly and makes sure that the our residents have everything they need and that they are doing well. Our staff will also help residents with dealing with other agencies such as the Benefits Agency so that they can access the help, support and advice that they need.
Just chatting with the men is also a very important part of our Housing Support Officers' role and trips out for a coffee are a regular feature.
Our great desire is that our residents are welcomed into a home that we would be happy to live in and that they are loved and challenged into lifestyles that are healthy and independent.
