A big thankyou to everyone who took part in and supported our dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol 9th December 2023. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we raised just over £1000 for Hope Housing. Well done everyone and thank you.
New Appointment
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Howe as Housing Support Officer to work alongside Mike Matravers. This really strengthens our team and means we can offer better support and encouragement to our residents. Many thanks to all our supporters who make our work possible.
Annual General Meeting - September 2023
It was good to see a good gathering at Emmanuel Church recently for the Hope Housing Annual General Meeting 2023.
Our Guest Speaker for the evening was Pastor Pete who was the founder of our partner Green Pastures. Pete gave us an inspiring talk during which he spoke about how Green Pastures had started and the wonderful work they have done the years up to this present day.
The meeting also heard reports from our Treasurer about how we have performed financially over the last year and from Richard Hare and Mike Matravers about the work we have been doing this year across our 2 houses together with our plans for the future.
Danny Walker updated the meeting on new fundraising initiatives that are being developed with the aim of putting us on a firmer financial footing for the future.
We were also pleased to welcome our latest Trustee, The Reverend Neil Bowler, who has recently joined Bridlington Priory as their new Priest in Charge.
